His PhD thesis focused on the microenvironment of benign and malignant breast tumors. He worked as a Consultant Pathologist in Greece's National Health System (NHS) and in academic teaching and research. He received postgraduate training at Nuffield and Ratcliffe University Hospitals, Oxford, UK and at the Royal Infirmary NHS Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland, specializing in cancer pathology. Additionally, he trained at the College of Phytotherapy and the British Institute of Homoeopathy in the UK, earning Diplomas in Homoeopathy. Dr Vartholomaios also studied in Germany and the UK in various medical fields. With extensive clinical experience, particularly in cancer, he has treated thousands of chronic disease cases.
