OverviewThe experience of the civil war and the concentration camps imposes a radical change in the life and the play by Aub. With those camps of the writing, Aub constructed his signs of identity in a tangled space between the planes of the Spain that left and the one that couldn’t be. In that search he formulated El laberinto magico, an exhaustive altarpiece dedicated to relate the contest, its causes and consequences. This project inclided the extensive tomes Campos, 25 stories that cover the period between July 1936 to 1963. The appearance of Campo francÉs provoked a great impact, to actualize the terrible episode of the republican exodus toward France framed in the start of World War Two.
