Overview

Max and his friends are on a camping trip at Camp Friendly Pines when he's stung by a wasp. Max gets a case of the Super Fidgets and devises a counting game to distract himself. If he loses, he will have to forfeit his campfire treats! It's not easy being a kid. And Max discovers that his games don't always work out the way he wants them to. But no matter what, he has the love and understanding of his friends.

L. M. NICODEMO is a schoolteacher who created Max and this series of books. She lives with her family in southwestern Ontario. GRAHAM ROSS is an illustrator and designer who has illustrated many books for a wide range of Canadian childrens' book publishers. He lives in Merrickville, Ontario.
