Julie Murphy is the author of four series of middle grade and young adult books, as well as four stand-alone novels, including Dumplin', now a Netflix original film. By day, Crystal works in higher education marketing, and by night, she is a writer whose work has been published in Latina, BuzzFeed, and the Hartford Courant.
