OverviewWonderful fun and inspirational stories from 50 years ago, written by people who spent many summers at a summer camp for kids and adults with disabilities in the Catoctin Mountains in Maryland Naugle provides a book of stories that were written by both staff and campers who attended Camp Greentop in the 1960's and 1970's. It was a time before the Americans with Disabilities Act. Camp Greentop was a rustic but incredibly beautiful camp that presented physical challenges that were negated by an empathetic staff. The staff's purpose was to provide campers with opportunities that would challenge them to overcome physical and emotional barriers that gave every camper a feeling of self-worth, independence and a positive vision for their future. This book tells their stories.
