OverviewThe Edge of Law explores the spatial implications of establishing a new legal institution in the wake of violent conflict. Following work for a youth NGO in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alex Jeffrey's scholarly work has examined the politics of state formation after violent conflict. He is author of over forty papers and chapters on the political and legal geographies of the state and published The Improvised State: Sovereignty, Performance and Agency in Dayton Bosnia (2013).
