The Collins Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives series offers a skills-building approach to the Cambridge curriculum framework (1129) from 2022. The resources support students to develop skills in analysis, collaboration, communication, evaluation, reflection and research, exploring global issues through rich international sources. This book provides full coverage of the Stage 7 Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives curriculum framework. Focused on improving skills: each chapter centres on two skill strands, building these skills through a carefully structured sequence of active learning towards a collaborative final task. Author Information

Rob is freelance writer and educational consultant with twenty five years experience in educational publishing for a wide range of subjects and levels, including international projects for the Caribbean, Sudan, UAE, Pakistan and Kazakhstan. Mike Gould is a former Head of English and an experienced author who has written over 150 books and other resources for teachers and students, including GCSE and IGCSE textbooks and digital support material. He has also been a Senior Lecturer in English and Education, teaching the history of the English language, creative writing and how to apply new technologies to the English classroom. Ed Walsh is Science Adviser in Cornwall and the Series Editor for Collins KS3 Science. He has contributed to Collins KS4 Science books supporting courses from AQA, EdExcel and OCR, and has written materials for the Secondary National Strategy. Ed was a teacher for 20 years, 12 as subject leader, and has taught in Manchester, South Wales and Cornwall. He is a regular provider of CPD events at ASE Conferences.
