He is author of several books on English in the South Atlantic, has published some sixty articles and has served as co-editor of English World-Wide (2013–19). Marianne Hundt is Professor of English Linguistics at Universität Zürich. She is the co-ordinator of the International Corpus of English (since 2017), wrote New Zealand English Grammar (1998) and is co-editor of English World-Wide (since 2013). Edgar W. Schneider is Chair Professor of English Linguistics at the Universität Regensburg, Germany.
