Overview

"Back To The Future meets Call My Agent in this enthralling high-concept debut novel from Channel 4 F1 presenter Steve Jones. Bob Bloomfield's whole life changed when his little brother Tom was tragically killed in an accident. Now a ruthless corporate partner at Fitz-Simmons & Bloomfield Entertainment Management, with a \""materially rich, spiritually empty\"" existence, Bob has done enough living for two. But then the impossible happens. A seemingly ordinary phone allows Bob to connect to the past ... and speak with his twelve-year-old self. And his calls back through time are creating real changes in the present. Which leaves Bob with two questions- Can he prevent his brother's death? And will he like the world he's created if he does?"

Joyously unpredictable, clever, witty and warm. Gorgeous! * Ruth Jones *

Author Information

"Steve Jones' first job was in a petrol station. It was also the first job he was fired from for putting diesel in Dai-The-Milk's petrol truck. From there he gained employment in a printing factory before setting off for distant shores to \""find himself\"". He subsequently found a mediocre career in modelling which thankfully segued into a fairly successful twenty-year (to date) career in TV presenting. His cherished accomplishments- he was crowned Welsh Rear of the Year in 2002. His suitcase has come out first at the airport on no less than two occasions, and now, he has written two novels, Call Time and Terminally Kill. Which he very much hopes you will enjoy."
