"I've read hundreds of EOW books and I rate this one right up there with Lucifier's Hammer. The story line and characters were an absolute master piece, some would say the language was too much, but not me. What was written, how it was written was a well thought out endeavor as far as I'm concerned. A sequel heck yeah you got my vote and will purchase it as soon as I see in advertised. I applaud the author and give him many kuddo's excellent well researched and thought out, now just waiting to see what happens next...............this book as far as I'm concerned deserves a 6 star on a 5 star scale. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, expertise, and idea for a novel, well worth reading if you like drama, comedy, thrilling adventure and suspense.......Ric Harrison ________________________________ This is a great book with a very good storyline and excellent character development; it's believable. There were times I was laughing while reading the book--I lost a lot of sleep because I didn't want to put it down in the evening. WHERE IS THE SEQUEL? What we have here is a couple of hard core survivalists who win a billion dollar lottery and go on a spending and party spree while preparing for the apocalypse. Money is no object so every possible scenario has been covered in ""The Book"" to survive TEOTWAWKI. Alex and Mickey are not your normal Beverly HIllbilly Preppers, they have a well thought out plan with the money, facilities, supplies and know-how to survive after a meteorite eliminates Mexico. It turns out to be a complete surprise to them that survival is hard work rather than a post-apocalyptic party. I want a sequel! _______________________________________ I was not sure what to expect, but bought this book based on the favorable reviews -- especially the one that described it as being Duck Dynasty in a bunker. I'm glad I bought and read the book. It was entertaining and informative. I've read lots of EOW books, so I already had a handle on much of the advice and many of the tactics that the author describes. What I really liked about the book is how it takes people who appear to be rednecks, then puts them in the right place, at the right time, with the right resources and knowledge. More importantly, the story is clever and it is told in a way that a pleasant departure from the way many EOW books are written. I'm hoping for a sequel."
