Cader Idris, one of the highest mountains in southern Eryri (Snowdonia) Wales, rich in mythological and historical associations. Author Information

Andrew Green was the Librarian of the National Library of Wales between 1998 and 2013 and is now a successful author. His Wales in 100 Objects, published by Gomer in 2018, was awarded the Non-fiction Welsh Book of the Year in 2019. Previous publications also include Voices on the path: a History of Walking in Wales (2024) and he regularly contributes to his online publication gwallter.
