Cactus Critter bash is the result of a lifetime of fascination with the Sonoran Desert. Sid Hausman spent a great deal of time in the desert, riding, hiking, and studying its secrets. Sid Hausman is an illustrator, songwriter, and musician who performs at cowboy poetry gatherings and folk festivals throughout the west. He offers historical programs and children's workshops to schools, museums, and libraries. His earlier book, One Bullfrog, also contains sheet music and a CD. His songs reflect the plants and animals of the Southwestern mountains and deserts.
