This book is the story of the family and the process they created and continue to improve. The automatic corn popper was introduced by Charles C Cretors at the World Columbian Exposition in 1893. He and subsequent generations put the first popcorn wagons (first horse-drawn, then motor driven) on US streets. Then the fourth generation developed the revolutionary Flo-Thru process, the first and still dominant method of high-capacity corn popping. The Cretors family includes Charles D. Cretors, 4th generation, former president and CEO; Andrew Cretors, fifth generation and current president/CEO; Bud Cretors, vice president and head of production; Beth Cretors Youdell, vice president of marketing; and Lynn Cretors, former head of marketing.
