Bye-bye, Mama's Milk

Overview

While celebrating the breastfeeding relationship between mother and child as a unique era of life for both, Bye-bye, Mama's Milk also provides the inspiration needed to gently bring the era to a close, whenever the time may be. Recognizing the mixed feelings that may accompany weaning - a milestone rarely acknowledged as such - the book offers an engaging and compassionate way for readers to make the adjustment. Along the way, young children can learn about numbers and counting, as well as participate in interactive extension activities described at the end. In Bye-bye, Mama's Milk, the author, a breast imaging specialist, shares the book she wrote for her three children when they were younger - a simple series of steps leading to a happy transition and conclusion.
