Hailey Barnard is a driven young lady from sunny South Africa. She spent the first six years of her childhood growing up in the bustling city of Johannesburg, where she found joy in the expressive arts at school. Hailey participated in several Eisteddfods, in which she was mentored and trained to perform and present various genres of poetry, monologue, duologue and reading extracts. In 2016, Hailey began a new journey with her parents and older brother, as they made the adventurous move to the UAE. Living in the UAE has given Hailey and her family the opportunity to immerse themselves in new ways of thinking, working, and living. The exposure to such wonderful cultural diversity has given her and her family new insight into how people from all over the world think, interact, and communicate. Hailey has embraced the opportunity to share her experiences, feelings, and adventures, through dance and the writing of her own journals, stories, and poems. Her ultimate goal remains to inspire others of her age, through her actions and words.
