Reviews

Bright, happy and draws you to go forward. We are taken into a world of Butterflies, with a young boy, girl and a dog. The story is really about how important Butterflies are to all of us. Yes, shown without words until the very end. It's a very nice book with beautiful colors and a learning lesson about the importance of our butterflys. Great learning for both young and old. - Shirley P. Johnson, Amazon Vine Voice reviewer Beautiful and very suitable for children ages 2-6.... entranced me...a fascinating concept...and not just because I am the mother of two sons with severe autism. It is absolutely a suitable book for a child with a disability...I 'get' the delight they would have...in the colorful illustrations in Butterfly Blink. No words needed! I like the fact that there was a dog in the book, and some children, so that the reader can relate to the story from different angles. I loved the luscious colors and duly noted the commentary...We need to take care of our creatures! All in all, a lovely book with stunning illustrations. - Jean Baldridge Yates (Amazon) Vine Voice Reviewer Beautiful illustrations...The drawings look like paintings on a canvas. Since the illustrations are open to interpretation, each reader will most likely find different meanings and themes in the story....when we truly open our eyes, we can see the beauty of life....The recommended age range is from 2 - 6, but children 10 and under may enjoy it. - Oak Tree Reviews The simplicity, open ended messages, mix of objects per page, and whimsical quality...hold a child's attention as well as providing a new and unique learning tool for teachers. - By Robert Boze, Truth About Book (former docent for the Monarch Butterfly Exhibit at the San Diego Natural History Museum and Interpretative Volunteer at the San Diego Zoo's Insect House)
