Sharmila Kantha spends her time alternating between writing fiction and dealing with facts. She has worked as a teacher in Beijing, a bank officer in Delhi, a microfinance consultant in Kathmandu and an online business researcher in Kuala Lumpur, as she moved around with her diplomat husband. Her previous publications include two picture books for children, the novels Just the Facts, Madamji and A Break in the Circle and three books on Indian corporate history.
