LUIS RUBALCABA is Professor of Applied Economics at the University of Alcal?, Madrid, Spain, Director of the Services, Innovation and Competitiveness Department at Servilab (University Institute for Economic and Social Analysis) and President of the European Association for Research on Services (RESER). He is the author of many publications and a scientific advisor to European institutions.
