During her practice as a psychotherapist, Dr. Lehavi observed that the problems were often the same as well: Miscommunication, different approaches, and opposing goals. In addition, disagreements between partnerships in businesses often affected more than the relationship between the partners themselves. No matter the issues, problems between partners often affected family members, friends, employees, other partners, workflow, and ultimately, profits. Moreover, the business agreements or joint venture agreements that many of these partnerships were using were completely insufficient and ended up hurting them in the long run. Today, Dr. Lehavi uses her real-world experience of business partnerships, aligned with her skills and experience as a psychotherapist, to save as many business partnership relationships and joint venture relationships as possible by guiding them, and their business, back to success. From saving marriages to working out deep-rooted issues of family-owned businesses, her expertise has helped hundreds of partnerships refocus, improve, and strengthen their relationships for the better of the business as a whole and more. Whether through an on-going consultation or a one-time session, an understanding third party non-biased, experienced, and professional perspective to the emotional, logistics, and financial difficulties of running a successful business has often made the greatest difference in the world for many business partnerships. It is this fact that drives Dr. Lehavi's passion for helping others every day. In addition, Dr. Lehavi's coaching helps business partners also avoid common pitfalls at all stages of business growth, from initial decision-making, identifying blind spots, exit strategies, and more. Dorene earned her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, her MSW from Hunter College and her B.A. in Sociology from Yeshiva University.
