Trained as a scientist [B.Sc., Ph.D. Chemistry, University of Birmingham], Heinz Redwood acquired commercial and marketing experience during four years in Thailand and subsequently worked in the British pharmaceutical and chemical industry with leading responsibilities for commercial development and strategic planning, principally in the UK but also for overseas subsidiary companies. Since the 1980s, he has worked independently as Pharma and Health Policy Consultant, with extensive international experience involving assignments across the European Union, the U.S., Canada, Japan, and in emerging economies like Brazil, India and Algeria. He has published extensively on pharmaceutical and health policy issues and has spoken at conferences and seminars in 16 countries. 'Business Analysis for Management' was first published as 'Mind Your Own Business', while the author was responsible for corporate planning in industry. It has now been updated to reflect an extensive range of current business problems and their management.
