Andrew Louis Hale (Andy) grew up as the fifth of eight kids on a primitive family farm in 1950s rural Washington State. Lacking modern amenities, the resourceful Hale children found fun and adventure on their ten wilderness acres. In his warm, witty memoir Burn Hill, Andrew recounts hilarious childhood escapades and poignant life lessons with humor and nostalgia. He celebrates childhood freedom and family bonds, beautifully capturing the magic of a bygone era. Now retired, Andrew lives in Woodinville, Washington with his beloved wife Virginia. His inspiration for Burn Hill is his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and future generations.
