Overview

Much of the drinking water infrastructure in the US, more than one million miles of pipe beneath our streets, is at or near the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. Buried No Longer Pipe Need Predictor modeling software, uses the Nessie Curve technique, and will help your utility determine where to replace, when to replace, how much replacement or expansion is required in your system, and costs of replacement. Costs are based on a user-specified mix of pipe types, pipe age, system size, and location. This software was developed for the 2012 AWWA report, Buried No Longer: Confronting America's Water Infrastructure Challenge.
