This Guide combines the guides to the Côte d'Or, Côte Chalonnaise and Mâcon, and Chablis to present a complete view of all Burgundy, from the great communes of the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits (Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet, Meursault, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Corton, Nuits St. Georges, Clos Vougeot, Chambolle Musigny, Morey St. Denis, Gevrey Chambertin, and others), the communes of the Côte Chalonnaise (Bouzeron, Givry, Mercury, Rully, and Montagny), Mâcon (including Pouilly-Fuissé), and Chablis. Benjamin Lewin MW has written a series of critically acclaimed books on wine. One of only 400 Masters of Wine, and the founding Editor of Cell journal, he brings a unique combination of qualifications in wine and science to bear on the world of wine. He also writes the myths and realities column in the World of Fine Wine, and contributes to Decanter magazine. He divides his time between the eastern United States and the wine-growing regions of Europe, and is presently working on his next book.
