He has conducted national training grant workshops on math learning for the Association on Higher Education and Disabilities and conducted two PBS workshops on math study skills and learning styles. Dr. Nolting has conducted numerous national conference workshops on math learning for the National Developmental Education Association, the National Council of Educational Opportunity Association, and the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges. Dr. Nolting holds a Ph.D. in Education in Curriculum Instruction from the University of South Florida. His doctoral dissertation was The Effects of Counseling and Study Skills Training on Mathematics Academic Achievement.
