Overview

Rosie McMahon is a modern Miss Marple--a veteran with a nursing degree and a seismograph in her shed. The story is set in a charming, and believable beach community. She leads us through the mystery with a cast of characters including surfers, environmentalists, developers, and crumbling beach cliffs. If you already know Lisa Lane's work, and love her attention to history--she includes just a bit of fictional history in this one--fun and perfect. I highly recommend this beach cozy mystery--it has entertaining personalities, beach ambiance, and of course, a faithful cat. I'm really hoping that Ms. Lane writes a whole series of these!
