Overview

Clare Koala Bear and Katherine Kangaroo are kind to all their bush animal friends. One day, they discover Peter the Spiny Anteater trying to knock down Roger the Red Bull Ant's nest - just for fun! Why is Peter being so mean? Clare and Katherine help Peter to understand that being a bully can be very lonely. It's always better to be nice to everyone. Bullies Need Friends Too by Kate Pennington has a message for both children and adults: bullies often just need a friend. Kate hopes that her Beyond a Joke series of children's books will help create a domino effect of kindness.
