Faisal Abid is a young, innovative software engineer & developer and the co-founder of AndSpot, currently the serving CTO. AndSpot is a patent-pending social app store for Androids. His studies are in Software Engineering at McMaster University. He is an author published by Manning and O'Reilly and has appeared in leading publications. He teaches Android development at the Rich Media Institute (downtown Toronto). As the CTO of AndSpot, he overlooks the technical team but personally implemented the core of the entire technology stack, from the highly scalable infrastructure and architecture to the Android client (using Nginx, ColdFusion and Java among other technologies).
