Author Information

Jaime Santos-Reyes is a lecturer at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico. He obtained a PhD from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, in 2001. His main research interests are modelling disaster/safety management systems, early warning systems, diagnosing systems failure, technological and natural hazards risk perceptions, accident and risk analysis, past disaster analysis, critical infrastructure interdependency modelling, human reliability analysis, human stampede disasters, futures scenarios. He edited the following book “Earthquakes: Impact, community vulnerability and resilience” (2009). IntechOpen, Croatia. ISBN: 978-1-78984-667-6. Over 40 peer review papers published in the Web of Science/Clarivate Journals. Invited Editor (2020-2021) – Sustainability journal.
