This issue explores the plethora of regional variants that developed and continue to develop within modern polytheistic traditions. In the ancient world there was a complex relationship between locale and cultus, one that contemporary communities often struggle with today. The articles in this issue explore that tension, what it means to be polytheistic in a post-modern world, and what it means to practice indigenous traditions often in locales so far removed from where those traditions were born."
