Hensen is Professor in Building Performance Simulation at Eindhoven University of Technology. His teaching and research focuses on development and application of computational modelling and simulation for high-performance buildings while considering building physics, indoor environmental quality and building energy systems. He is, amongst other roles, Co-Editor of the first edition of Building Performance Simulation for Design and Operation and the founding Co-Editor of the Journal of Building Performance Simulation. Roberto Lamberts is a Professor in Construction at the Department of Civil Engineering of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. He is also currently a board member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) and counsellor of the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Buildings. He is, amongst other roles, Co-Editor of the first edition of Building Performance Simulation for Design and Operation and editorial board member of the Journal of Building Performance Simulation.
