Author Information

Olga B.A. van den Akker is a professor of health psychology at Middlesex University, UK. She has previously authored two books: The Complete Guide to Infertility: Diagnosis, treatment, options (2002) and Reproductive Health Psychology (2012) and co-edited the Handbook of Diet, Nutrition in the Menstrual Cycle, Preconceptions and Fertility (2014). She has also written numerous chapters, reports, scientific journal articles and presented at scientific conferences and national and international media providing expert information and advice on a range of reproductive health matters.
