He is the author of several books, including Building Contracts: A Practical Guide and Design and Build Contract Practice. Alan Turner JP, Dip Arb, FRICS, FCIArb is sole principal of Alan Turner Associates, providing advice in procurement and dispute resolution and acting as an arbitrator and adjudicator in construction disputes. In a forty year career, he has been a partner in Building Design Partnership, chairman of the National Joint Consultative Committee for Building and honorary secretary of the RICS QS Division.
