Barton Jahn has an Associate of Arts degree in construction technology from El Camino College (1973) and a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from the California State University Long Beach (1990). From 2001 to 2005 he completed 24 units of graduate classes toward a MSCE at CSULB. Barton has worked on over 2,000 units in residential construction. He has worked as an apprentice lather on a 22-story high-rise, been a project engineer on a 42,000 square foot meg-church, built 4 high-end houses in the $6.75-12.5 million range, an worked as an Assistant Vice-President in the construction management department of a bank. Barton has written 8 books on building construction, 4 of which were published by McGraw-Hill (1995-98). He has also written 5 books on Christianity.
