Author Information

Dr. Shalin Hai-Jew works for county government. Prior, she has worked in higher education in the U.S. and stateside for decades. She has worked as tenured faculty, newspaper advisor, course developer and instructional designer, grant writer, and researcher. She has B.A.s in English and psychology, an MA in English (from the University of Washington in Seattle), and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on public administration and online learning (from Seattle University). She has received several scholarships from multiple institutions of higher education. She has edited over 25 nonfiction educational books and authored a dozen.
