OverviewBuddy's Desert Rescue is a true story of the survival and hope of a small, black dog who was lost in the harsh southern California desert. He luckily finds safety hiding under a trailer and through the kindness of strangers, he receives the help he desperately needs. In the end, dreams do come true. Linda lives in the Southern California desert with her husband Mike and six rescued dogs. They have opened their hearts and home to not only dogs but cats, crows, opossums, a fox, and a skunk throughout the years. When volunteering for Greysave Greyhound Adoption group, they fostered over fifty greyhounds. Linda has been training and competing in obedience competitions since discovering her love for the activity 30 years ago. Along the way she was introduced to animal-assisted therapy work. She volunteered with four of their dogs and was an evaluator for Therapy Dogs International and BARK Reading Dogs. She was also a Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the America Kennel Club. Linda is currently teaching dog training class in Borrego Springs, California (buddysdesertrescue@hotmail.com) PLEASE SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PETS Full Product DetailsAuthor: Linda Leslie BatesPublisher: Zagawabe Books Imprint: Zagawabe Books Dimensions: Width: 27.90cm , Height: 0.60cm , Length: 21.60cm Weight: 0.422kg ISBN: 9798330370092Pages: 38 Publication Date: 01 October 2025 Recommended Age: From 2 to 10 years Format: Hardback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
