Author Information

Larissa Honsek is a Berlin-based creative director, graphic designer, photographer, illustrator, and mother. She works with mixed media such as clay, photography, digital drawing, and 3D to create a diverse tribe of bright and colorful characters, ranging from charming to avant-garde. Her work spans children's books to surrealist exhibitions, with vibrant colors that emerge naturally and change with each project. Often starting from doodling and automatic drawing, she transforms subconscious ideas into imaginative, fictional character designs. She has worked with international publishers and has been shortlisted twice for the World Illustration Awards.
