Brutalist London: A Photographic and Architectural Survey of London's Concrete Landmarks

Overview

This definitive guide offers a richly researched study of Brutalism in London. Written by architectural historian Owen Hopkins and photographed by Nigel Green, it features more than fifty extraordinary buildings, with an introduction and maps. The book reveals the beauty, ambition and social ideals that shaped London's most iconic Brutalist structures -- from the Barbican and National Theatre to lesser-known private homes and civic structures. Blue Crow Media continues its celebration of Modernist and Brutalist architecture through its acclaimed maps, books and calendars.
