Author Information

Michael is a Special Educational Teacher and Author. He works exclusively with children who have learning disabilities. He is trained in the Orton Gillingham Multi-Sensory approach to learning including training in the behavior of children with AD/HD. He has a Masters Degree in Special Education, and he is an advocate for children and parents' rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He is a member of the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), and he is a member of CHADD (a national resource on AD/HD). In addition to his training, both of Michael's kids have dyslexia and AD/HD. He understands firsthand what you are going through as a parent and educator. He understands the challenges that come with these disabilities; but, he also understands these children are gifted children and have incredible abilities.
