Overview

This poetry book is a collection of poems written by Behati, spanning from her teenage years up to the age of 21 and a half to early 22. The poems are inspired by light personal experiences, current and past wishes, hopes, dreams, desires, and past beliefs. Alongside these are darker and deeper subjects such as traumatic experiences related to sex trafficking, survival sex, abuse, rejection, past relationships and heartbreak, and the shift from old religious beliefs and pains of past faith leading to change in spirituality. Despite the changes and hardships she has faced, Behati writes with the intent to help others who may have had similar experiences or are currently going through tough times. Her goal is to offer a sense of hope, to let others know they are not alone, and to help heal the wounds of others through her words and reflections on the past.
