He has presented seminars and taught in journalism programs around the world including Bulgaria, India, Lithuania, and Russia. His background includes television reporting, radio commentary, and documentary productions ranging from Antarctica to Moldova. He has been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Broadcast Education Association, and the Fulbright Commission. Marie Barnas is Professor of Video and Film Production in the Department of Media Arts at Middle Tennessee State University, USA. She holds MFA degrees in film production and creative writing.
