Author Information

Terry Storry is a BCU Level 5 Kayak coach and an orienteering instructor. He holds the International Mountain Guides Carnet and spent eleven years as a coach at Plas-y-Brenin, the National Centre for Mountain Activities in north Wales. He is interested in the philosophy and psychology of outdoor adventure, in descriptive writing and in visual arts in the landscape. He now lives in the Lake District and is Senior Lecturer at St Martin's College School for Sport and Outdoor Studies based in Ambleside.
