The author was a former Riding Club grade test examiner and judge. Her horses past and present have won championships at County Shows including the Gt Yorks and Devon County, been placed in the first three at the BSPS Summer Championships, NCPA Pony of the Year and the RIHS, and competed at top level in show jumping and dressage, with homebred horses carrying the 'Foxwood' prefix and homebred ponies carrying the 'Foxwoods' prefix.
