Twenty-three years have passed since publication of the first edition of this book and the fourth edition takes advantage of considerable worldwide experience in this field. Author Information

Dr. DeCamp, a native of Flint, is a former professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Michigan State University and has joined Animal Surgical Center of Michigan. Early in Dr. DeCamp's post-secondary education, he studied English literature and received his first degree therein. During this time of study, he also completed pre-veterinary courses and subsequently earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Michigan State University.
