During the Korean Conflict he served with the 82nd Paratroopers Battalion at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in their Military Intelligence Unit. In 1954 Hank began working at MGM Studios in Culver City, California culminating a 40-year career with an Oscar nomination for producing Dangerous Liaisons.
