Through her life's rollercoaster, stemming from chronic weight issues as far back as she can remember, Tave developed a desire to shield young girls from the perils she faced growing up ""big and tall."" Reaching 6ft and 300 lbs. by the age of 13, life was hard, almost unbearable. She struggled to love herself and feel loved, for what seemed like forever. At the age of 22, she reached 427 lbs., but after giving birth to her first child, she vowed not to be the parent that could not keep up. After losing over 200 lbs. and having her 2nd child, a girl, the desire to shield her daughter from the hurt and pain she felt growing up, led Tave to write poems to use to strengthen her, and love herself, just the way she is. Fortunately, her daughter's confidence is threatened by no-one, so Tave decided to turn each poem she wrote into a children's book collection, designed to motivate all girls around the world, no matter their shape or size. Out of that desire came the birth of BayaBooks. This mission has grown to include all children, boys and girls. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
