Author Information

C. D. Saeker has been living in Southeast Asia with his family since 2004. After their arrival, the family of four grew to six, the youngest two having been born overseas. As a linguist, Saeker has been both aiding mother tongue translators produce materials in minority languages as well as teaching ESL to some of the millions of Asians so eager to learn English. His first writing effort, The Quest for the Seven Sisters (2008), is a children's allegory about the fruit of the Spirit. Bridges from the East (2014) was next, followed by This Hideous Skin (2016), a modern re-telling of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. His most recent work is a brief trilogy of three Javanese legends entitled Java Tales (2018).
