KAY BRANDT has worked on hundreds of wedding gowns and formal garments over the course of twenty years. It has been over thirty years since she created her first garment. Sewing has always been a passion for her and a fun challenge for her talents. She is also an accomplished illustrator, specializing in portrait painting. After altering almost a thousand gowns she realized that most brides could have avoided costly alterations had the gown been properly ordered, or if the bride was more aware of all her styling options. If the bride had known the basic pros and cons of certain styles, she would have chosen a more suitable dress in the first place.
