Author Information

Valera is a self-published author/illustrator. This is her first song book that she has written and dedicated to her niece, Bree. Valera studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco with a major in Storyboard Illustration. She started her career as an artist by creating editorial cartoons for a number of newspapers in Northern California. She has illustrated eight children's books, five of them for three different authors. Valera is currently working on her first graphic novel.
