Overview

Bruce is not an ordinary cloud. He loves to make children laugh. However, Sometimes he tries too hard. Sometimes his frustrations get him in trouble. Find out how his friends help him out. ----- About Mel: Mel Holliday began her career in medicine in the 1980s. She changed her pathway to run a successful business with her husband, Martin, for over 30 years. Becoming an NLP Practitioner (Neuro-Linguist Programming) in the mid-1990s, Mel began developing programs for schools to help manage stress and support mental wellbeing. She created characters to portray different emotions for each lesson, using Bruce to introduce techniques for children to learn and manage everyday stresses. Bruce and his friends became a popular part of the program, each having a story that relates to an emotion. Mel realised a book based on the characters could reach a bigger audience to help parents, health workers and teachers teach a simple breathing technique to support young people manage their stress. About Rebecca: It is only recently Rebecca has started to explore her talents in illustration and art. She is delighted that her debut into illustration has allowed her to work closely with Mel Holliday, to breathe life into Bruce and her other characters. Rebecca has been creatively minded from a young age. She has always had a love of performing and is currently pursuing a career in the Performing Industry. Rebecca hopes that Bruce and his friends help lots of children manage their stress using Melis breathing techniques.
