Since 2015 he has been Head of Breast Surgery and head of the Breast Unit at the S. Raffaele University Hospital in Milano. In addition to his focus on conservative surgical treatments for breast cancer patients, he has been involved in numerous research and training projects concerning breast cancer in young women and during pregnancy. Ann H. Partridge is a medical oncologist who directs the Adult Survivorship Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and co-founded and directs the Program for Young Women with Breast Cancer there. She is also co-Chair of the Breast Committee of the ALLIANCE for Clinical Trials in Oncology, one of the four cooperative groups for oncology in the US. She has led and been involved in several research projects and initiatives aimed at improving care and outcomes for young women with breast cancer. OliviaPagani is a medical oncologist, past director of the Eusoma and Swiss certified Breast Unit of Southern Switzerland and responsible for breast cancer medical treatment and clinical research at the Institute of Oncology of Southern Switzerland. Her main research interests are breast cancer in young women and advanced breast cancer. She has been involved in and led several clinical trials in these disease settings within the International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) and the SAKK (Swiss Group for Cancer Research) cooperative group.
